Alexandra Donoghue
Psychologist & Occupational Therapist
Rural Psych Practice Principal
Alex lives and works in rural South-west Queensland. She has been practicing in mental health for over 30 years. Alex works with people of all ages, from children to seniors. She has a Masters in Clinical Psychology and a warm disarming manner.
Alex began her career working with people more severely affected by mental health conditions. She worked in Intensive Psychiatric Care facilities in Sydney and a Forensic Unit and Challenging Behaviour Unit in London in the 1990s. After working overseas, she returned home to Australia working in various inpatient and community settings and drifted west, landing in St George, where she has run her private practice over the last ten years. Alex is passionate about bringing quality psychological services to her backyard, rural Queensland.
Natasha Green
Practice Manager
We head hunted Tash because she is a "doer". Tash has always been rural, from her beginnings in Western Australia to the Top End, and now Southwest Queensland. Tash's family are local.
She has an extremely busy life as a mum to three vibrant kiddles. Tash loves horses, dogs and, to use her words, "pretty much any animal". Tash is warm, caring and a real all rounder. We are so grateful to have Tash and her infectious smile at Rural Psych.
Prue Bodkin
Creative Director
Prue grew up rural. She knows it from the ground up—literally! Prue consults in real estate and graphic arts. She creates visual imagery with a point of difference, reflecting her deep understanding of the rural context.
Prue is known for her creative flair and sense of humour. We feel privileged to have her extraordinary skills to help us capture the essence of Rural Psych.
